Gym!
Wednesday, January 24, 2007
Woke up today at 6:30am and went back to sleep, waking up again at 7:45am and realised that i was gonna be late meeting jiajia and LF at 8:30am. When i finally met them, it was already 7:45am.Good thing jiajia was late too=D so we arrived around the same time, and poor LF had to wait for us both because he was there on time :P. hahaha. Went to the gym at Bishan sports hall. It was a long time since I last exercised, and the workout there was really fun! Was walking about the gym, asking LF to demonstrate how to use certain machines cos they all look pretty much the same=/. After the good workout, we went to nearby J8 to have lunch, and we didn't dare eat anything with too much calories cos we didn't want to gain back the calories we've just burnt off. ahaha:P. Played arcade at AMK before walking back to school to complete our pink panther animation. I still suck at percussion freak T.T and LF made it worse by standing beside and saying that i will surely fail the stage-_-". stupid LF!nahbeh..angry!lol!
After a few hours in school, when our pink panthers finally have hands to walk with, linlin,jiajia and me went to watch the painted veil at Lido! It was alright i guess,the ending was expected,kinda cliche(if u put it in xy's words).Naomi watts was a really good actress though!
Oh yea...turned out that we actually have 2 lectures today which half the class thought there wasn't and didn't attend it -_-".

Feeling oh so loved~
How would you feel if someone fired a shot at you and there was no way you could escape?
How would you feel if your friend jumped in front of you and took that shot for you?
Well, someone has already did that for you,because he loves you, and that is my daddy Jesus=D, and yours too! Aren't you glad?=)) I don't care if you are, cos i am!=D and he's still protecting me today.
Pslams 91He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty.
2 I will say of the LORD, "He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust."
3 Surely he will save you from the fowler's snare and from the deadly pestilence.
4
He will cover you with his feathers, and under his wings you will find refuge; his faithfulness will be your shield and rampart.
5 You will not fear the terror of night, nor the arrow that flies by day,
6 nor the pestilence that stalks in the darkness, nor the plague that destroys at midday.
7
A thousand may fall at your side, ten thousand at your right hand, but it will not come near you.
8 You will only observe with your eyes and see the punishment of the wicked.
9 If you make the Most High your dwelling— even the LORD, who is my refuge-
10 then no harm will befall you, no disaster will come near your tent.
11 For he will command his angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways;
12 they will lift you up in their hands, so that you will not strike your foot against a stone.
13 You will tread upon the lion and the cobra; you will trample the great lion and the serpent.
14 "Because he loves me," says the LORD, "I will rescue him; I will protect him, for he acknowledges my name.
15 He will call upon me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble, I will deliver him and honor him.
16 With
long life will I satisfy him and show him my salvation."
*Simply because he loves me.

hug poem
Tuesday, January 23, 2007
I think that hugs are magical:). The poem below sums up why hugs are so wonderful.A Hug Poem
It's wondrous what a hug can do.
A hug can cheer you when you're blue.
A hug can say, "I love You so"
Or, "Gee,I hate to see you go."
A hug is "Welcome back again,"
And "Great to see you! Where've you been?"
A hug can soothe a small child's pain,
And bring a rainbow after rain.
The hug, there's just no doubt about it---
We scarcely could survive without it!
A hug delights and warms and charms,
It must be why God Gave us arms.
Hugs are great for fathers and mothers,
Sweet for sisters, swell for brothers;
And chances are you favorite aunts
Love them more than potted plants.
Kittens crave them, puppies love them;
Heads of states are not above them.
A hug can break the language barrier,
And make travel so much merrier.
No need to fret about your store of 'em;
The more you give, the more there's more of 'em.
So stretch those arms without delay
And give someone a hug today!!!!

bugisvillage outing
Wednesday, January 17, 2007
School started at 8am today, did a test which i didn't study for and ended at 9am -_-". That's school for today.One hour. How pathetic.
After slacking about abit in the animation lab doing bits of storyboard, Jiajia,linlin and I went to Sunshine plaza to get our Digital imaging assignment printed.Mine turned out fugly T.T . Linlin had to go back to school for Icebox meeting and so me and jiajia decided to take this time to destress a little and went to bugis village for shopping!=)) Bought 2 tops which were really cheap and pretty. One of the tops came with a belt with a flower buckle. Thing is, almost every shop in bugis village had a top that had the same belt or similiar to it. Jiajia and I had come to the conclusion that that because that belt is almost
everywhere in Bugis Village, it's gonna be identified with it sooner or later and many people are going to be wearing it. T.T boohoo.
Nevertheless, the shopping was much needed and it turned out
great. Jiajia bought a really cute vintage looking flowery blouse.Had coffee at starbucks too, and enquired about dance lessons at amore fitness(yes! I wanna learn dancing!=)).Hopefully we have the time to enroll and attend the lessons. I still have work waiting for me to get done,though it's lesser(thank god), it's still a pretty big workload. Happy chionging to me! lols~

angel bdae treat
Monday, January 15, 2007
Long overdue post.
Went out to Wheelock place with the sardines on Saturday to celebrate Angel's birthday!!!!=)) She felt especially nice and decided to treat us for "Dunch"(lunch& dinner) at the Sun and Moon restaurant! It was some modern jap restaurant=). Xy had to leave after lunch for her grandparent's birthday celebration =(. After that we walked about abit and I bought this nice top from Zara. The Sardines were really sweet and patient and waited for me while i queued to try it on. =) Went to Starbucks at United Square after that and collected my birks from ali!=) My birks are pretty *flutters eyelids*.Chatted (and laughed) much over coffee and it was just pure therapeutic=D.
Thanks Angel for the "Dunch" treat!Sunday! - After church, and lunch, I went to meet Jiajia, Jialin, LF, WJ,Ronald and Marcus at parklane. Heard that they were scammed by LF to go to some pathetic art exhibit and was quite relieved i didn't join them earlier.bwahaha. Was really bored and all of us cept' LF didn't want to go home and decided for nearly an hour before we went to the mind cafe(of course we made LF come with us hahaha). Really nice place to hang out, though i feel that a place to play bored games with a drink and some snacks isn't worth $10. Played Pictionary,Jenga and Taboo.=D funfunfun!
Yea and so that's my fun and interesting weekend!!! got lots of work waiting for me to complete T.T

Each player of this game starts off with 7 weird things/habits/little known facts about yourself. People who get tagged need to write a blog of their own 7 weird habits/things/little known facts as well as state this rule clearly. At the end you need to choose 7 people to be tagged and list their names. No tagbacks.Whaddaya know? I got tagged
again. This time by Xy. @$%^&*# rawr. Kinda reflects abit on my previous post =O. hm so 7 little known facts eh? Here goes:
One I breathe really loudly. Not that i can help it, but I guess this stems from me having asthma before. My classmates said that I breathe like Darth Vader T.T .
Two I love to dance. I havn't attended dance lessons before and don't know how to dance professionally but I like to dance abit of hiphop, ballet, ballroom and whatever else I think I know at home when I'm bored. Really random prancing and hopping about=D. Three I like to make all kinds of facial expressions and act all drama when I'm in front of the mirror at home.One moment I'm the evil bitch and the next I'm a happy little bunny =D. ( yes, laugh all you want, but i think it's entertaining=))Four When I was really young my parents sent me and my sister to this Jap school where we learnt or rather, tried to learn the Japanese language.
Five I can't stand people with no manners esp. table manners. For example, if you ate a bowl of noodles in front of me and stuck your chopsticks in the noodle instead of putting in on top, I would place it on the top for you. Six After going Israel, I found out that I probably couldn't survive too long w/o Singaporean food eg.meepok,horfun and hokkien mee!Seven Also, after coming back from Israel my gaming addiction dropped by half lol.
The smashing 7 I tag!
-Jiajia a.k.a Amelia(facts facts!=DDD)
-Clare! (do if u hab the time=))
zzz.. i hardly know anyone who update their blogs T.T
ohoh!
-Ronald ( since he seems so mysterious)

Israeltrip
Tuesday, January 02, 2007
HEYA PEEPS! I'm back from ISRAEL!=)actually posted about my Israel trip a few days ago, unfortunately, after posting, not a single word appeared!!!!!-.- Anyway, many people ask me why I would want to go to Israel. Well, i wanted to walk where my saviour had walked before, and see the places the bible described so i can visualise it more clearly=). Also, I want to float in the dead sea. hahaha!Many people thought that it's actually a third world country-_-". No, it's not, it's pretty advanced in technology. I thought the airport there was really nice=) and could be compared to Singapore airport, though it's smaller.
The church organised the trip, so i went there with clare and two busloads of church ppl! Made many new friends=D ! After arriving at Israel, almost everyone took out thick fat jackets to change into.Clare and I were left with our pathetic jackets for the whole freezing day, and we felt really pathetic. haha. On the first day we toured Caesara,Nazareth and Mount Carmel. Along the tour, we kept seeing migrating birds in the V shape. The person behind us who is here for the 4th time said that he had never seen so many migrating birds and that we were really blessed to have seen so many!=DStayed at Sheraton Hotel Tiberius for the first 4 days. Clare and I had the room with a view facing the Sea of Galilee!=D Really blessed!=))
The next day, we sat on a boat and sailed through the Sea Of Galilee where Jesus once walked on water there=)) Oh yea.. the water there is actually fresh water~=oFed seagulls!=D Presence of god there was nice,sweet and wonderful. After that we went to the Mount of Beatitudes where Jesus once preached to the multitudes. Our tour leader pretended to be Jesus and walked up to talk and we could all hear him real clear. That place had like real good surroundings to amplify the person's voice.
Went to Jerusalem the following day!=) It was colder there than in Tiberius.When u talked, there was mist coming out frm ur mouth=/. All of us Singaporeans found it interesting. hahaha.Over at Jerusalem, we went to the desert where Jesus fasted for 40 days and 40 nights,went to Beth She'an- the largest roman city uncovered by archeologists there,Gideon Springs,Garden of Gethsemane, Mount of Olives,Gollan Heights etc.
We also went to En Gedi to see the cave where David and his 300 soldiers hid from Saul.Didn't expect to hike-_-. So when we went there we were a little surprised that we had to climb climb climb and cross little rivers. It was worth it anyway. Reached the top to see a pretty waterfall and the big cave(half of which had fallen because of an earthquake a long time ago).
Tour guide also brought us to the Garden Tomb where Jesus was believed to have been placed after he died, and to the dungeon where Jesus was kept as a prisoner before he died.There was a silhoutte of a praying figure on the wall of the dungeon which couldn't be explained.=/.
By the 4th day, everybody started missing Singapore food, and whenever one person in the tour mentioned HOR FUN or smth, everyone around would start moaning and calling out names of all other Singaporean food like meepok and charkwayteow. So funny la the ppl.
On the 5th day, we went to the DEAD SEA!=D of course, I floated=)). Everyone who went in put the dead sea mud on themselves hahaha. Dead sea mud really works!After u wash it off your skin would be damn smooth!
On the last day we toured the Valley of Elah where David defeated Goliath, before heading back to Singapore!
There's too wonderful things about Israel that a blog entry can't suffice to describe it and I'm lazy to blog ALL about the entire trip anyways lol. This is just a fraction of the trip I blogged about..If u really want to see how fabulous Israel is, go there to see for yourself. haha!
A pretty photo:
